Most of our sets, including our popular Copper Cluster Fairy Lights, feature a generous 3m to 5m cable between the plug and the first bulb, making it easy to reach sockets behind furniture. For a tidy finish, we recommend using small, clear adhesive hooks to guide the wire along window frames or mantels so the focus stays entirely on the glow.

The primary benefit of a mains powered set is the uncompromising brightness. While Battery Operated Fairy Lights are perfect for centerpieces, plug in LEDs provide a higher, more stable voltage that doesn't dim over time. This makes them the most reliable choice for your All Year Fairy Lights, ensuring your home stays brilliantly lit without the need to swap batteries or rely on sunlight.

Many of our plug in transformers include a built-in timer function, typically running on a 6-hour 'on' and 18-hour 'off' cycle. This is an excellent feature for Garden Lights or hard-to-reach indoor displays because it automates your atmosphere. Your home will fill with a warm sparkle at the same time every day, managing your energy usage effortlessly while providing a welcoming environment.

Hanging your lights inside is all about choosing the right anchor points to suit your styling. If you find you need more coverage in a wider space without using multiple sockets, our Battery Operated Fairy Lights are a fantastic alternative that allow you to add sparkle to any corner without being restricted by plug locations.

An IP44 rating means the lights have been tested to be splash-proof and protected against solid objects, making them the standard for Outdoor Lighting. While these can certainly be used indoors, our indoor-only sets are often designed with more delicate wires that aren't meant to face the elements. If you plan on using your lights for Garden Lights, always ensure they have that weather-resistant rating for safety and durability.
